Any papers turned in later than 1 day late will not be given credit and a “0” will be assigned. ** Work that is checked for completeness CAN NOT be turned in for a late grade.
Retakes: I will be allowing students to take a retake on 1 test / quiz per marking period if the student does not perform well. There are guidelines / requirements the student must fulfill in order to do a retake and these will be passed out separately.
Cheating: Cheating of any type will not be tolerated. If you are caught cheating you will receive a “0” for the grade no matter what the assignment, your parent/ guardian will be notified, and the principal/ assistant principal will be notified.
Cheating is the turning in of any work in which the answers did not originate from the person turning it in. This includes but is not excluded to: the copying of any
work that was to be completed solely on your own, copying off of another student’s paper (test, quiz, lab, or worksheet), or using a cheat sheet (the writing of
answers on anything other than the test).

2. Phone is turned into the office. The phone must be checked in for 9 weeks.
3. Phone is turned into the office. The phone must be checked in for the remainder of the year.
Staying on Task: It is necessary to remain on task to maximize learning. The activities that are considered not remaining on task are included to but not excluded to: sleeping, doing homework for other classes, self grooming practices (combing hair and putting on make-up), and writing notes. Failure to remain on task will result in consequences.
